Corporate website for industrial companies

The website of a manufacturing or construction company speaks to customers, business partners, the professional public and job applicants, often in several countries and languages at once. We build it around what the company can do: a catalogue of products and solutions with specifications and downloadable documentation, references and completed projects, production shown through video, photos or a virtual tour, technologies, capacities and certifications.

For manufacturers of building materials and components this also includes a technical library for designers and contractors (technical data sheets, declarations of performance, installation guides, BIM and CAD objects, consumption calculators) and a point-of-sale finder – a map of builders’ merchants, dealers and installers by region and product range.

Language versions for target markets have content and contacts adapted to each country, not just translated, and for branches of international groups we build a local website within the global identity and headquarters’ rules. A careers section presenting operations, with applications from mobile, belongs here too, because a manufacturer’s website today is as much about recruitment as it is about sales.

02

B2B portal for dealers and distributors

Dealers, distributors, builders’ merchants and installers ask about price lists, availability, technical data sheets and marketing materials – and each of them asks a different person. A portal with a login gives them, in one place, individual prices and terms from your ERP, stock availability by warehouse, ordering by product codes or import, order and shipping status, invoices and delivery notes, documentation and materials for their own sales.

This also includes partner training and certification, whether as registration for courses or as online learning with a test and a certificate. Your sales team is left with the work no system can do for them.

03

Product configurator

When a product is made of variants, dimensions, materials or accessories, the configurator guides the customer, dealer or salesperson through the choices, makes sure everything fits together, calculates the price as they go and passes the result on as an exact specification to a quote, an order or production.

What is being put together can also be seen: we visualise the product in a specific configuration as well as the whole assembly (a production line, a shelving system, fencing, a process unit). A quote takes a few clicks, and production receives a brief that leaves nothing to argue about.

04

Service portal

A customer looking for a manual or a spare part, or wanting to file a complaint, should find it right next to the machine: they scan the QR code on the product and land on its service page. The portal covers product registration, documentation and manuals, spare-part ordering with exploded drawings, fault reporting and complaint tracking, service history and the maintenance plan.

The service department has an overview of the installed base, and the customer gets an answer without waiting on the phone.

05

Field service management

A service technician in the field needs the job, the machine’s history and documentation on a tablet, not in a folder. The field service app records the work done, time, parts and materials used, photos from the site, and a report the customer signs right on the technician’s tablet. The signature produces a service report for the customer and the basis for invoicing and stock, with no retyping in the office.

Visit scheduling, job status and integration with the ERP or service portal keep the whole process, from fault report to invoice, in one system.

06

Quote calculators and lead generation

An enquiry like “how much would 500 pieces in 3 mm stainless steel cost” waits for a salesperson today. A calculator works out an indicative price from dimensions, material and quantity straight away and passes a qualified enquiry, parameters included, to the salesperson.

On top of that come campaign pages for a specific product, sector or market, downloadable materials in exchange for contact details, and a layer that scores the enquiry, records it in the CRM and assigns it to the right salesperson. Sales management sees where enquiries come from, what they cost and which end in an order.

07

Careers website and production recruitment

A machine operator, setter or warehouse worker does not write a CV, but will reply from their phone in two minutes. A careers website shows operations, people and conditions as they really are, offers a way to respond to a vacancy without a ten-minute form, and passes applicants on to the company’s HR processes.

Campaign pages for specific positions or plants measure where applicants come from and what they cost, so recruitment is managed by data, not by gut feeling.

08

Employee app

People in production do not sit at a computer, yet they need shifts, the canteen menu, announcements, forms and documents. A mobile app keeps them informed through push notifications, lets them request leave, report faults and ideas, confirm they have read a regulation and have what matters to them at hand – even without a signal on the shop floor.

For the company it is a channel that reaches every employee equally.
